Booked 2 nights. Ended up booking a 3rd as loved it so much. Extremely friendly staff throughout the stay. Wash rooms are clean and showers hot. Stayed in a large pod and it was brilliant. Could have done with an extra plug socket so bring an extension lead if using more than one device. The fridge in it was really helpful. There is also another fridge freezer in the washing up area. Lovely walks to the village and the gorge. Shops within 2 minutes walk. I had my dog with me and she loved every minute of stay. Will definitely be back
Very clean and quiet site. The camping field has it's own washing up area with a fridge freezer and microwave for campers to use. 25 minutes walk to Cheddar gorge. The only negative I would say is the church bells ring every 15 minutes 24/7.

We are at the CL site opposite the Caravan Club site. Site is clean and Warden is helpful and informative about the area. Would recommend and come here again.
Lovely site. Lovely wardens. Can't understand family's bringing children there as no amenities for them. A few there this weekend using the road on campsite like a race track on bikes and other ride on things. Very noisy when you want to just relax.

What a fantastic campsite - great atmosphere and spacious! Instead of bringing our own tent, we decided to try a 'shepherds hut' and were not disappointed. It was much larger than I had anticipated - 2 adults + 4 kids - ample room for sleeping. During our stay it was blazing hot (July 2018) and there was an issue with the hut being too hot. However after a brief discussion with Jules regarding the fact that it wouldn't cool down (we weren't complaining - great weather has inevitable issues. NOTE if considering a non summer stay they are well insulated), he appeared an hour later with a fan - A total star. There is also a van that does really good bacon rolls/ cooked breakfasts in the mornings.
Lovely campsite. Staff are very friendly. Showers hot, toilets clean. We stayed in one of the two wooden huts. Highly recommended. You get power sockets, tea making facilities, electric lights, no hassle putting up a tent. Top tip: go through the little gate near the welcome tent and turn right. There is a sign saying 'car boot sale this way', it fails to mention that the brewery is also that way. Well worth a visit if you want local beer!
