The Kings Head

1 Silver St, Cheddar BS27 3LE, UK – 01934 744088

Great Pub with well kept beers. Loved the traditional atmosphere, can tell this is a local boozer but friendly and welcoming, no nonsense. If I lived in the area, this would be my local. Well worth a visit if you appreciate a real pub and not a gastro wine bar, which a large number of pubs have turned into due to people who can't seem to differentiate between a pub and a gourmet restaurant. Don't expect olives, you won't get em' and why should you.

Love popping in here when we are in Cheddar. After the first welcoming visit we were remembered like locals on subsequent visits.friendly staff and locals and dogs, good beer, lovely garden

Rodney Stoke

Wells Rd, Rodney Stoke, Somerset BS27 3XB, UK – 01749 870209

Friendly pub with a small campsite. Food was good. Only slight negative was the camp toilets are a little on the shabby side. Not so bad it would stop me going back. Generous sized pitches with EHU.

Very nice restaurant/pub decor. Nice garden fir adults. We wanted to eat but they had stopped serving food at 9 Pm.

The White Hart

The Bays, Cheddar BS27 3QL, UK – 01934 741261

Enjoyed a lovely impromptu family lunch here today. Busy but we were catered for in a welcoming and efficient way. Unfortunately we had to sit in the snug as the main bar was busy so missed out on the atmosphere. My husband loved the real pub smell. Lovely fresh hot pub grub. We will definitely eat here again.

Good pub. Has a big garden that makes children feel welcome and is equipped with a pay area as well. The beer is good quality and had a wide range. There is a darts board and you can play matches with the scoreboard. There is other drinks as well as alcohol such as J20 and lemonade. Very nice on total A good visit for families and a quick stop,a drink and a round of darts.
